A note from my daughter to her mom
On April 15, 2008, Michele, my beautiful wife (age 48) and mother to our two wonderful children,
Brandon (25) and Aislin (11), passed away from malignant melanoma skin cancer. We found this note
in her purse from Aislin a few weeks later. She fought with all her might for three years so she
could be with her family.
The level of care and expertise that Michele received at Princess Margaret Hospital was astounding. They did everything they could to save her life, yet despite how hard Michele fought, we still lost her. Many others still continue to lose their loved one, friends and family members to cancer every day.
